For your safety
Before & during your arrival...
When you check in with us, we ask you to show a certificate of a negative rapid test that is not older than 24h. For this you can also use the free citizen tests in the test centers. During your stay at the Hotel Hofgut Sternen you have to show a new negative test every three days. These can be booked at a test center in the region. Recovered and fully vaccinated persons with appropriate proof are exempt from this test obligation. Also exempt are children under 5 years of age who are symptom-free.
You probably already know it: luca!
We ask all guests to register with the luca app in our house. It's best to download the app to your cell phone before you arrive - so you can start right away on site: for check-in in the MarktScheune, in the SchwarzwaldStube and for other public areas. More info about the luca app.
For whom is what open?
Hotel guests
We are pleased to offer our idyllic rooms on the edge of the Ravenna Gorge to overnight guests again starting May 20, 2021. Enjoy the Black Forest from its culinary side: with regional country breakfast, coffee and cake, Black Forest buffet or dinner à la carte.
Day guests in the restaurant
From May 20, 2021 we also offer day guests breakfast at the buffet, lunch, coffee and cake and dinner with advance reservation in our restaurant! The Hofgut beer garden is open from 11:00-18:00. The SternenBar as well as the SchwarzwaldStube opens from 18:00 - 21:00.
Uncomplicated cancellation
In these times you have to stay flexible. Therefore, you can cancel your vacation with us in the Höllental up to two days before arrival free of charge.
The basics
Keeping distance, regular airing and disinfecting - all a matter of course in our house.
Please help us to make your vacation with us healthy and safe. For all public areas we therefore ask you to wear a medical or FFP2 mask.
In the entrance area in each house you will find disinfection dispensers. Please use them before helping yourself at the buffet.
Who needs to be in quarantine and who does not?
Arrival without quarantine is currently possible from Germany or countries that are not listed by the RKI and from a risk area. For this purpose, you need a certificate of a negative rapid test, proof of complete vaccination or your recovery upon entry. If entering from a foreign country, a Digital Entry Application is required.
If entering from a high incidence area or a virus variant area, different rules apply. When entering from a high incidence area, a quarantine requirement of 10 days applies. in addition, a negative test result or proof of complete vaccination or your recovery must be presented. A rapid test is sufficient for this and must not be older than 48h. After 5 days the quarantine can be shortened by a second negative rapid test.
When entering from a virus variant area, a quarantine of 14 days applies, which cannot be shortened. In addition, a negative test result must be submitted. Again, a rapid test not older than 48h is sufficient. All current information and regulations for entry can be found here.
Out into the nature!
The Upper Black Forest has a lot to offer even in times of Corona. Because outside in the fresh air pretty much everything is allowed: Hiking, picnicking, sunbathing, biking, golfing, motorcycling or simply exploring the area. In the warm season it's not hard to give up indoor activities and maybe the reduced offer will also help you to slow down and concentrate on the essential things. Here you can find more inspiration.
